THE 2021/2022 EDITION OF THE ADVANCED OLYMPIC RESEARCH GRANT PROGRAMME HAS BEEN LAUNCHED
As for previous editions, the programme is aimed at university professors, lecturers and research fellows who have completed their doctorate, and who currently hold an academic/research appointment/affiliation. |

For this new edition, we invite researchers to submit proposals related to at least one of the 16 IOC priority fields of research. As you will see in the rules, the topics cover key IOC areas of activity, such as the Olympic Games, the athletes, the contribution of the Olympic Movement and the world of sport to the Sustainable Development Goals, gender equality, ethics and governance, as well as other broader, important issues such as the future of large-scale sports events and the contribution of sport to society’s health and the economy. |

The deadline for submission is 1 February 2021. You will find further information, including the rules, the application form and the list of research projects awarded grants in the past here. |
IMPACT OF OLYMPIC AGENDA 2020
Adopted by the IOC Session in December 2014, Olympic Agenda 2020, the reform programme of the IOC, is a set of 40 detailed recommendations whose overarching goal was to safeguard the Olympic values and strengthen the role of sport in society. Last week, the consultative meeting of the IOC Executive Board concluded that 85 per cent of the recommendations have been achieved. OLYMPIC WORLD LIBRARY SEARCH WIDGET
To make Olympic knowledge accessible to all, we launched the Olympic World Library four years ago. Thanks to this platform, users can consult our vast, unique library collection with over 36,000 titles, and directly access over 10,500 documents in digital format. |

A joint initiative from CEROU (Centre d'Études et de Recherches Olympiques Universitaires), part of the Université de Franche-Comté, and INSEP (Institut National du Sport, de l'Expertise et de la Performance) offers a series of podcasts (in French) that will run until the Olympic Games Paris 2024, sharing informative content related to Olympism and the history of the Olympic Movement.
